There's an all new version of JK Launcher, and this time the program has reached a stage where it may truly start a new era of JK gaming. The new JK Launcher is far superior to the old Patch Commander and not only will it handle your mods, levels, patches (such as the limit removers), but most important of all it lists any games hosted on the internet or locally, enables you to host games, and allows you to chat in several JK related IRC chatrooms, all in one handy interface which can be minimized to tray. A new version, which will fix some small bugs, will be released this weekend, and soon JK Launcher will also enable you to download any level/mod that is hosted on Massassi and JKHub from within the program. It can do much more, but you'll have to check it out yourselves. The current version already works great! In short: JK Launcher is Patch Commander and the Zone all in one, and much more. Thanks and praise to ZeqMacaw, the Enabler. ;D I will probably be hosting SBX games this weekend! Feel free to provide feedback and ideas on the forum page of JK Launcher on the JK Hub. You can also check out the discussion topic on Massassi, which actually provides some useful info for people having problems running JK on Vista. LONG LIVE JK! ;D

Yeah, I've been meaning to post about this for a while now... The last version of JKLauncher is an amazing improvement compared to the older ones, and now I seriously think it's good enough to be used by everyone. You can already download mods and levels hosted at the hub and massassi and you can update the patches too I think Zeq did a great work with this and if we manage to spread the word it could help to give new life to the JK community Ohh, and count me in for the weekend!! ;D

Yeah, you can download the levels/mods and install patches already. I hadn't noticed at first. This thing is pretty awesome. ;D

Ok, so I wasn't online this weekend, because I had several things to do... *grumble*
But keep an eye out for me on MSN this week, because I really have the JK itches. ;D

I need to re-install JK for the billionth time... anyway, it sounds like Zeq's launcher is finally done! (How many years has he been working on it?)
Hope to see you guys for a bit of SBX soon!

With the launcher, JK appears to work more or less properly on my computer, but I would like to see if I can actually play sbx with people. The Order seems like an ideal group to test that with, if I ever find you on.
