Guys, I'm having serious computer issues. Looks like I'm going to have to format my entire HD because -somehow- I've got a number of viruses and it's infested with spyware as well. (Never had anything this bad before) I don't know how long it's going to be, but I'll be back. I'm sorry for not replying to certain recent posts, I will do so when I have my PC working properly again. See you soon! (I hope)

oook k here goes a long shot... i LOVED SBX 3.1 back like 10 yrs ago when it was one of the most played gameson msn gaming zone... despite how old it is now, i would still really love to play it again, but it seems to have been taken off the zone, no doubt due to the age of the game... this is the first JKDF II clan site i have come to, and is there anyone out there who knows of or is still playing Dark Forces II SBX online..??

Well, it might've been a long shot, but you came to the right place Of course, these days the JK community is not what it used to be, but you still can find enough people to play with. Check out jkdf2.net , go to "Where to Play" and you'll find all the places where you can still find people to play JK. As for SBX... well, it's a bit harder to find people playing with this mod, most of them are ORJ members, but there are a few out there who will be happyto cross sabers with you. Add me to MSN if you want and we shall have a few duels

I'm back!
WHEW
So, I had to reformat and reinstall XP, but it was worth it.
I got infected by downloading some malicious freeware program. (I needed a DVD audio ripper)
The thing passed my virus scanner and turned out to be a trojan. By the time I found out, it was already too late. It had opened the backdoor to a large number of other viruses, rootkits and trojans. I kept scanning, but it was just no use. For every one virus I deleted I had won three new ones.
Just so you know, freeware isn't what it used to be. I'm sticking to open source software from now on.

Good to see you're back, Jos I've been there myself quite a few times, so I sympathyze And I'm with you with the open source software, it's by far the best choice, I think

I am not 100% sure, since I tried several of them.
